ANDREW THOMAS HUANG

Biography

Andrew Thomas Huang is a filmmaker and artist from Los Angeles.

His work has been showcased at the Museum of Contemporary Art Los Angeles, the Saatchi & Saatchi New Directors Showcase at Cannes Lions, the Hammer Museum, MOCA Taipei, ZKM Media Museum, ASVOFF at the Centre Pompidou, as well as various publications including Interview Magazine, DAZED&CONFUSED, Paper Magazine, The Atlantic, Motionographer, SIGGRAPH's Electronic Theater, and Creativity Magazine's "Directors to Watch."

Bjork handpicked Andrew to direct her music video for "Mutual Core" from Biophilia, which premiered at MOCA Los Angeles. He has since gone on to direct for Sigur Ros and Thom Yorke.

In addition to music videos, Andrew continues his foray into advertising, feature film and personal projects.

Andrew graduated with a degree in Fine Art and Animation from the University of Southern California.
